Schools Trips Plus
Parent Hotline works with our School Trips Plus service, allowing schools to leave messages for parents before, during and on the way home from a trip.
School Trips Plus has several other clever functions that can help keep children safe on school trips and help teachers to manage incidents:
On a Trip:
Lost & Found
- If a pupil becomes separated from the group or is involved in an accident or incident, trip teachers can be contacted immediately by a member of the public or venue staff by calling the number and entering the School ID on the wristband or hi vis jacket – ensuring teachers can react within minutes of an incident occurring.

Trip Conference Calls
- Allows any teacher on the trip to ring into the service and activate a conference call. By doing so, the service will simultaneously ring up to four other teachers on the trip and bring them all into the call. This is vital when teachers need help from their colleagues to manage an incident.

Parent Messages
- Keep parents informed (e.g. trip departure time, trip
requirements, safe arrivals)
- Record updates (e.g. delays – stuck in traffic)
- Report how the pupils are getting on (perfect to keep
parents updated on residential trips!)
