Safe and found sense for all schools

How it Works

Parent Hotline does exactly what it says, it provides parents a hotline to the school.

  • The school rings the service from any location to leave or update a message for parents to listen to.
  • Thousands of parents can ring the service from any mobile or landline and listen to the latest messages.
  • There are three separate sections, allowing schools to leave a variety of messages for parents, depending on the situation

  1. Particularly useful for school closures during bad weather. The school can leave a message from any location and update at any time
  2. When parents ring the service this message is automatically played at the beginning of the call - ensuring everyone knows what is happening
  3. This message will remain on the service until updated or deleted

  1. Schools can set up school trips on the service and record messages up to three days before the trip starts
  2. Parents ring in to Parent Hotline and find out when the trip is due to depart, that they have arrived safely and any changes in the ETA back at school
  3. The school trips service is particularly useful for residential trips where parents can be updated daily about the trip – providing them reassurance that their child is safe

  1. Most schools leave a message every day on the ‘daily message board’ advising parents of after school clubs and fixtures for the day
  2. If there is any doubt about the fixture going ahead, the school can advise parents when to call back in for an update
  3. The daily messages are automatically wiped off every night
